Album Info

Release Date: 1990

Label: 11:37

"Mr Gallagher's Zoo" was compiled from 6 Radio Timperley episodes, which were broadcast by Piccadilly Radio between 29:2:88 and 9:4:88 as part of shows by - Chris Evans, Tim Grundy, James H Reeve and Rebecca Want.
Broadcast link up engineer between the two stations was Steve Hookvale.
Special thanks go to Patrick Gallagher, who is Irish, owns his own zoo and is a keen armadillo exibitor(sic).
It was recorded as it happened in and around Timperley and at M/cr's G-mex.
I have re-edited some of the recording to fit it on and to annoy L.F. !
"Frank's Removal Company" was also 6 episodes of Radio Timperley, broadcast between 11:4:88 and 16:5:88 and are the next episodes to follow on from "Mr Gallagher's Zoo", so the same credits for Piccadilly Radio staff apply.
In this episode, I moved out of the Timperley area with my latest £££ making idea and met along the way, various people who I'd like to thank for not ruining 'Buckeroo' (but not Billy and Barry Belly).
The final part of side 2 is filled up with just a small clip of my ace, fantastic and top live performance at the Reading Festival on 27:8:89. The show took place in the 2,000 max capacity "Mean Fiddler" marquee tent, in front of an estimated 4,800 crowd. It was recorded by 2 of my fans, from the back of the tent, so is not very hi-fi (infact more bobbins-fi), but it helps pad my tape out.
Thanks Porky for your fantastic intro.
