Album Info

Release Date: 1972

Label: Vida

Mexican release of the album "MENU" by Freddy Lindquist (it was released two years after the original norwegian release by Flower Records). In the frontcover it reads the catalogue number of the original release, and the "erroneous catalog number" for this mexican release (I-VLP-3005); while on the labels it reads the corrected catalogue number (I-VLP-5005); Also on both labels the artist's name is missing, so you can read the album title only.

On credits:
The drummer Espen Ruud is misspelled, this musician is actually Espen Rud
The Alto Saxophonist (Kalle Neumann) also is misspelled. He is Calle Neumann (a.k.a. Carl Magnus Neumann).
Espen Rud was the drummer in a norwegian band called "Jumbo", leaded by Freddy Lindquist. After some changes of personnel, unsuccessful recording sessions and lost of interest on the recording project, the band eventually changed their name to Finjarn/Jensen (with the drummer Leif Jensen [4]) to fulfill the album and release it.
Kalle Neuman (or Calle Neumann) was a saxophonist associated with the guitar player Terje Rypdal, who was replaced by the (also) guitar player Freddy Lindquist in the norwegian beat-band The Vanguards (1966).
