Recorded on a 16-track recorder during (a damn hot!) summer in 1988 at Garden Studios, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA. Tracks 6 & 7 were recorded on a 4-track recorder in the spring of 1987 at Garden Studios. Tracks 1 & 10 were recorded live in the studio on a 2-track recorder in July of 1989 at Garden Studios.

Originally released in the fall of 1989 except tracks 6 & 7 which are previously unreleased. Sleeve notes suggest that the 1989 release was on cassette only.

Transferred from analog to digital and remixed in September 1995 by Charles Jones and Mike Gardner at Osceola Studio in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.

Packaged in a standard jewel case with black tray and 16-page booklet.
