"In soft aquatic surf-rock style, Furry Loser details stories of its passion held in forceful tides of past and present. The wistful 60’s sounds of his recent project Farm Rat Epitaph are percolated here by Furry Loser’s lo-fi indie origin. The sweeping sounds of a dreamlike future are made to confront a seemingly unshakable past, cycling through misunderstandings torn by hesitation.Love, which arrives like a dream, is not a secret necessity that lifts us beyond ourselves. Like Mrs. Delaney’s cat, we are given the choice to remain welcome in a place of static acceptance or to be loved knowingly in a place far from welcoming.
The burden carried through these songs is that of hope —a religious act itself— bolstered by a willful love. We must believe that swimming forward is more loving an act than treading water and, that through this —like Convoy— we may find a ship we’d be proud to go down with."

"Furry Loser is back and continues to surprise and lift me up on empty feeling days with Celebration at St. Matthew's Home. A collage of dreamy soundscapes that would definitely accompany me on my way to the beach, onto the sand, into the water, and beyond. Every song takes me back to a memory I didn't know I had, I wish I could have listened to this album years ago!"
