I added imagery of my personal "Little Advances" CDR to this post. (the spray-painted cover). I reached out to Samuel Herring, lead singer of Future Islands, to see if I had a legit version of their debut. Here's what he told me after seeing the images I added to Discogs:

Samuel T. Herring:

"Nice! Yeah that's the original one right there! Wow i haven't seen one of those in a minute. Pretty sure that was the first run we did. We made a stencil and spray-painted them in William's backyard. Made a big mess. Looked tight though! There were probably only two different cover designs. Later we did one with a paper insert for the cover. It was yellow with our faces across the front on three lines. Then we did an extended version later that had extra tracks from another session around the same time that we didn't release. There's also a cassette of the extended version. You've got the collectors piece there. I think we did somewhere around 50 of those. probably march of 2006."
