Artists

Album Info

Release Date: 1992

Label: Etcetera

[...] recording made in close collaboration with the composer. Near the end of his life, Giacinto Scelsi wished to document what he considered definitive interpretations by the musicians with whom he worked closely (Michiko Hirayama, The Arditti String Quartet, and Frances-Marie Uitti), and he considered this recording of the Trilogy, exemplary in style, sound and spirit. He then dedicated all of his solo works for cello to Frances-Marie Uitti.
