"Everyone Can Fly" is taken from the full length, "Minor Chords and Major Themes." "The Shift to Superoverdrive" and "To Whoever" are demos that never quite found a home til now. Feed and walk them once daily and they'll love you forever. "Sulk With Me" was recorded for the last album, but left off at the last minute for reasons no one can really remember. Hmmmm... "The Big Lie" is shown here in its original version, naked, warts and all. Which brings us to "Half a Chance" recorded during the soundcheck for KCRW's "Morning Becomes Eclectic*" show in Los Angeles. If I'd only known the tape was running I'd have remembered all the words! Next time maybe.
