- This is actually a recording of New York Gong, when Gilli Smyth toured with them in 1979. The tracks have been selected to highlight Gilli's contribution to these concerts. Tracks A6 and B11 also appear on Daevid Allen, New York Gong - Live In The USA.
- Track B12 is a recording of a Mother Gong concert with a special line-up of : Gilli Smyth (vocals), George Bishop (sax), Bill Laswell (bass), Michael Beinhorn (synth), Chris Cutler (drums), Fred Frith (guitar)
- Date of recording : Kansas City, May 5th 1979, except A1 & A2 recorded Hartford Trinity College, in April 19th 1979, and B12 recorded in New York City, Zu House, in October 8th 1978.
