Album Info

Release Date: 2012-03-28

Label: Isgud Records

Having kicked off 2012 with new productions from two of the Island's newest newest residents, Ibiza based Isgud Records turns once again to another of their home based producers and one of the labels most prolific artists to date, Tuccillo. A huge DJ favourite, Tuccillo's versatile productions see him find support across the whole of the DJ spectrum. As comfortably at home in the soulful stables of King Street Sounds and Defected as he is in the deeper, often techier realms of Circus Company and Soweso, the crazy haired Italian's polished skills have seen him become one of the most popular producers of today. His releases for Isgud have been some of the labels strongest. 2010's "LapTopLoops" ep ruled the summer floors and his"Shell Obsession" ep provided warm winter moments in 2011. His last EP saw Tuccillo co-producing with Willie Graff and label boss Tato. Accompanied by a remix from the mighty DJ Qu, it went on to become yet another massive summer smash. Today Tuccillo returns with his latest brace of tunes and its perfect timing, as his sun-tinged beats soundtrack the oncoming warmer months in Europe. "Allegra's Theme" finds him tickling the ivories accompanied by a bubbling acid line and delicate xylophone, whilst on the flip its the turn of "Take Me" with its rasping snares and warm atmospheric synths, to whisk us away to warmer climes.
