Field Study: 33 Minutes is a solo guitar work that challenges traditional rhythm and structure that channels the unpredictability of anxiety attacks. Rather than try to corral the unpredictable, Field Study: 33 Minutes is the acceptance of rhythms and structures reconfigured and deconstructed. Using the root takes, field recordings were used to add textures and capture the natural environment the work was created in.
