Label: Afterburn Records

2CD set housed in a gate-fold cardboard sleeve, includes a folding 6-panel booklet.

Due to missing master tapes/CDs, Jackwoman Nunhammer, Worm Sweat and Strutter (1-16, 1-23 & 2-2) were mastered from vinyl. Some surface noise may be present. Dig it.

The live tracks were recorded with twin microphones onto a 1960s reel-to-reel Revox tape recorder, and 20 years later the tapes underwent a rescue process involving temperature treatment and specialized transference to digital, with final reconstruction of the audio. Complete with flaws, this provides the best and most authentic recording of the GOD live experience.

Tracks 1-1 to 1-14 are from the 'For Lovers Only' LP, which was released by Au-go-go on December 11th 1989 (ANDA 102). Co-produced by Tim Pittman/John Hresc/GOD at Sound Barrier Studios during January 1989.

Tracks 1-15 & 1-16 are from the 'My Pal' 7-inch single, which was released by Au-go-go in January 1988 (ANDA 65). Recorded by Simon Grounds and co-produced by GOD.

Tracks 1-17 to 1-24 are from the 'Rock Is Hell' mini-album, which was released by Au-go-go in December 1988 (ANDA 77). Recorded by Simon Grounds and co-produced by GOD. 'Rock Is Hell' has four different cover designs. One designed by each member of the band; due to the bands' inability to agree on one cover design.
Tracks 1-17 & 1-20 were also issued on the 'Rockin' Marky / Meat Cleaver Boy' 7-inch single, which was released by Sympathy for the Record Industry in 1989 (SFTRI 27).

Track 2-1 is a cover of The Stooges song 'Real Cool Time'. From the 2LP tribute album 'Hard To Beat (Twenty-One Stooges Killers)', which was released by Au-go-go in June 1988 (ANDA 70). Recorded by Simon Grounds and co-produced by GOD.

Track 2-2 is a cover of the Kiss song 'Strutter'. From the split 7-inch 'Going To Au Go Go', with the bands The Sunset Strip and No Mans Land. This three track 7-inch was given away free (500 copies) by Au-go-go in 1988 (ANDA 73). Recorded by Rueben Pinkster and co-produced by GOD.

Tracks 2-3 to 2-16 were recorded live at the Central Club Hotel in Richmond, VIC, Australia on July 30th 1989 (GOD's last gig). Recorded by Simon Grounds, live sound by Andy Turner and tape transfer engineering [2009] by Michael Letho.
The live recordings of tracks 2-10, 2-12 & 2-15 were first issued in the U.K. on the 'My Pal' 12-inch, which was released by Shakin' Street Records/Au-go-go during 1989 (YEAH-HUP 005).
