After playing as a side-man or backup guitarist, bassist or drummer for my teen years, this basement born EP was my first attempt at putting my own claptrap tunes into the world. Recorded with my friend Silvain's TASCAM digital 8-track with one all instrument mic, my vocals were timid, reverb-less and sometimes off key. I used mostly guitars that never stayed in tune and westbury drums that I bought for $100 that were covered in hockey tape, had a cracked hi-hat and a chipped crash-ride. There is digital distortion everywhere. But still - I had a lot of fun making it, and if nothing else, I learned how I don't want an album to sound.released January 1, 1999
