"Another bunch of tracks from 1997; perhaps our most fertile year. The first five are from a practice tape. They may be a bit lo-fi, but unless someone lends me an 8-track reel deck they're probably not going to be re-mixed anytime soon, so here they stand. And stand they do. A little hazy wavering and stumbling perhaps, but they don't fall. no effects, no edits. Three of 'em end when the tape runs out.

Shimmy is from one of our sessions with Geoff Streadwick at 40 oz. Studios the same year. It appeared in some versions of the Gravitar box set on Enterruption and on the Westside Audio Labs cassette "Magnets at the Bottom of the Sea"."
