The Italian project Greyman-K's ambient album “Curfew” was released on the Simphonic Silence Inside music label at number 174. Curfew is the debut album from Italian pianist and composer Adriano Segreto. This work was created in conditions of isolation, which affected many European countries and the city of Bari, where the musician lives. Greyman-K describes his compositions as minimalistic sketches capable of creating ambivalent feelings of experience and calmness at the same time. The track Stormy Far East, according to the author, is a vivid example of the transfer through the piano of the ability to speak to the silent areas of consciousness. The Ego Point track is an eight-minute meditation on this precise level of consciousness that can comprehend and illuminate a vanishing world: it is a defense against scattering by reaching the ultimate and most intimate point of identity. The ability to interact with synthesizers and modular systems opens the pianist to new facets of sound experiments in ambient and piano music. Projecting simple melodies or motifs that seem to come from the void, escaping from the high-tech speed and noise of movement, then leads the author to desire the relationship between the surrounding world and the need to comprehend it.
