Blue was originally released as the fifth single of the then-upcoming self-titled Groundbreaking album. After almost a year of no updates, Sean Harper revealed to fans 'Groundbreaking' had been cancelled, citing dissatisfaction with the direction and quality of the album, and confirmed Blue would instead be an EP release comprising those singles.
