Gull Boy is a Boston band that honors the artsier side of NYC 1977-78, the Sound of Young Scotland (Postcard Records 1980-81), the Liverpool explosion of 1980-81, the LA Paisley Underground sound of 1984, and The Only Ones.
This debut Gull Boy LP combines two studio sessions, a self-produced initial foray into recording, and two live-in-the-studio sessions on WMFO.
Judy Schwartz recorded and engineered the two studio sessions.
Joel Simches recorded and engineered the two live in the studio sessions at WMFO.
Drew Carolan wrote the lyrics to Tell My Friend and Totally shut Out.
