Gunārs Rozenbergs (1947—2009) is a true legend of Latvian jazz. Trumpeter, conductor, composer and arranger from Riga, Latvia. Considered by many to be the finest jazz instrumentalist to ever come out of the Soviet jazz scene, Rozenbergs was at the front of most jazz culture developments in Soviet Union and later in independent Latvia.

In 1976 he recorded LAURA - a jazz / fusion album that still stands as a landmark recording of Soviet and Latvian jazz scene. Now follows LINDA - jazz / funk / fusion album recorded by Latvian Radio Big Band in 2021 from the original scores of Gunārs Rozenbergs music from 1970ties and 1980ties carefully selected by Latvian Radio Big Band leader Kārlis Vanags Music.

Recording featured guest appearances by legendary Latvian jazz musicians - friends and collegues of Gunārs Rozenbergs - pianist Raimonds Pauls, trumpeter Aivars Krūmiņš, saxophonists Jurijs Smirnovs and Eduards Raubisko, trombonist Bruno Jurgenbergs, pianist Madars Kalnins, guitarist Aivars Hermanis and bassist Jurijs Širokovs.
