Gunk. is Robert Preston Collum of Brooklyn, NY’s Pink Mexico, and long time collaborator, Mike Forst. The material on this record was written and played for a one-off performance back in 2011. 9 years later the tapes of the tracks were found and the decision to resurrect and record them was made. Most of the reworking was long distance, over the phone and over email. The duo teamed up with engineer and guitarist Kevin Dusablon in San Francisco and recorded the album in 4 days.
