Words inspired by Finnish funeral sermons from the 18th century.

"Caickuwi Cauwas Walkeus (trans. Afar Echoes the White Light) was unearthed in a private session taking place in early September 2008. The material on the album took its present form during the ever-lasting Polar Nights of the same year.

The album utilises only acoustic instrumentation, which for the most part have been recorded live in the Katajan Kaiku studio with no overdubs. These contemplative, primeval forest hymns were previously unleashed during Halo Manash tour in France (Jan. 2009), in an edition of only 29 copies.

As all breathing entities, the Serpentree-drawing, appearing in the original booklet went through a metamorphosis in Winter 2013. The artwork in the four inner panels of the booklet received in Winter 2013."
