"Unearthed in a private session taking place in early September 2008. The material on the album took its present form during the ever-lasting Polar Nights of the same year. The album utilises only acoustic instrumentation, which for the most part have been recorded live in the Katajan Kaiku studio with no overdubs."

Handcrafted edition including the standard CD (packaged in a hand-finished gatefold cover with 8-page booklet), hand-numbered insert, 8 hand-mounted photo prints (housed in a hand-made sleeve), and a silk-screened wall canvas (21 x 70 cm with wooden beam).
The CD and inserts are held in a handmade book-like wooden box hinged with leather & brass tacks.
