The piano music was recorded on a home studio. The transfer to multitrack, further instrumentation and first mixing took place at the "Lux Mondi" studio, Rotterdam in late February 1983. Further additions and the completions of individual pieces were done at home on the Erpel Portable Studio during the following May. In early October the album was finished without fundamental changes to the original material recorded, at the Hit Box Studio, 1120 Vienna, Aichholzgasse 32, with help of recording engineer Eric Spitzer-Marlyn.

My sincere thanks go to Jurjen Drenth and Margriet Spierings for their kind hospitality during my stay at their house and for making the recording in Holland possible. Thanks to Coen de Neef for the use of his studio and his valuable assistance during the recording and initial mixing. Thanks to Eefje Jager for taking part.
