148mm x 137mm x 53mm hard clamshell box in moulded plastic cover with title sticker. Set contains two books; an A4 reprint of the 1973 "City" songbook (136 pages), and a 127mm x 127mm clothbound hardback featuring forewords from and interviews with all four members, two critiques, interviews with staff (directors, engineers etc), lyrics, a chronology, a family tree, a discography and tracklistings. A reply card is also included. Box set is numbered on the inner spine of the clamshell box.

All discs contain CD-Extra content, mainly images. Disc 5 contains a 17 minute NHK radio interview from December 1971 as an AIF file. Disc 8 contains an eight minute video of Nobuyasu Okabayashi backed by Happy End from the 1970 All Japan Folk Jamboree.

CDs are in the papersleeve (aka mini-LP replica) format, with discs 1 to 5 featuring the original inserts and posters where applicable. Discs 6 to 8 feature illustrated fold out inserts with liner notes and source information.
