Side A (Mx. B-6131-2) was recorded May 27, 1908, Camden, NJ. A later recording by Henry Burr (Mx. B-27340-6) replaced that of Jarvis on pressings of Victor 16008 from 1923-27, when this title was removed from the Victor catalog.Side B (Mx. B-6003-1 or -2) was recorded March 2, 1908, Camden, NJ. A later recording by The Shannon Quartet (Mx. B-27338-2) replaced that of the Hayden Quartet on pressings of Victor 16008 from 1922 to 1927, when this title was removed from the Victor catalog.
Victor 16008 was originally released on October 20, 1908 on labels showing five lines of patent information along the lower edge and the date Aug. 25, 1908 at the end. This repressing, with three lines of patent information and ending with "EMILE BERLINER VICTOR TALKING MACHINE CO." dates to between late 1910 - Mid-1912.
