Rod Temperton
isn't exactly a household word but his music has already found its way into more than seven million homes in less than three years. This is no small feat; consider, if you will, the fact that Rod Temperton is British born and bred, lives in Worms, Germany, and on the occasion of completely writing and arranging his first album a few years ago, was also rewarded by the fact that it sold a handsome two and one half million copies. Mr. Temperton has responded to this considerable success by immediately falling in stride with the whole idea and he has since written and arranged another two equally successful Heatwave albums. This kind of writing deserves special comment and recognition. Compiled herein, in a very limited edition, are some of the highlights from those past albums. It's a fitting compliment to a very special composer.
