From the cassette liner notes:"Intro To The Final Chapter" is a Heaven's Gate classroom lecture recorded on 09/14/95. This tape was never meant for public consumption. Rather, it was recorded for the use solely of Heaven's Gate members. As such, it's rich with the language of the cult.
There are references to Star Trek, the current events of 1995, and the Christian Bible (Revelations in particular). Do and his followers show much awareness of how "normal" society perceives Heaven's Gate and might react to them. Do is very clear about his true identity, and that of Ti. He also addresses their relationship to governments and established religion. And of course there is talk of the coming apocalypse. After Do speaks there is a Q + A session with his followers.
The delivery is low- key, but the message firmly places Heaven's Gate within the tradition of apocalyptic cults. Playing time is 45 minutes.
