様々なメディアミックスを展開する次世代ガールズバンドプロジェクト「BanG Dream! (バンドリ!)」より、ハロー、ハッピーワールド!が5枚目のシングルをリリース! 「えがお・シング・あ・ソング」はアニメ「BanG Dream! 2nd Season」挿入歌として書き下ろされた楽曲。おもちゃ箱を思わせるような賑やかなサウンドで、なんとも"耳が楽しい"一曲。キャッチーで癖になるメロディーとハロー、ハッピーワールド! ならではの「笑顔」をテーマにした歌詞が見事に融合した一曲に仕上がっている。一方カップリング曲の「はれやか すこやか ぴかりんりん♪」はシャッフルのリズムが心地良い、ハッピーに溢れた楽曲。ゲームのシナリオを想起させる、温かな応援ソングになっている。Blu-ray付生産限定盤にはアニメ「BanG Dream! 2nd Season」#7～#8、Web用次回予告#7～#8、アニメ「BanG Dream! 2nd Season」CM ハロー、ハッピーワールド! 編を収録。
