"Yggdrasil", the evergreen ash, the tree of life, or ash of the universe. According to Norse mythology,
its roots and branches hold together the different nine worlds with their peculiarities. Each song that
makes up the album represents one of those 9 worlds. The texts are based on Völuspá (The Seer's Prophecy)
one of the most significant poems in Norse mythology where the creation of the universe is explained
along with its deities as well as its own destruction. This poem begins with an invocation to Odin,
after which the seer begins to tell the story of the creation of the world in a summarized way. The seer
explains how she was able to get her knowledge, thus learning the source of Odin's omniscience, and
other secrets of the gods of Asgard. She mentions present and future events, alluding to many of the Norse
myths, such as the death of Baldr and the Loki's chaining. Finally, the seer speaks of the end of the world,
Ragnarök, and his second coming.
