SPEED KING’, a tribute to LITTLE RICHARD is HOT CHICKENS's 3rd album.
Recorded LIVE voluntarily at the end of a long tour in the South-West of France on November 5, 2006 in the small village of Limogne En Quercy by Serge Bouzouki. The 14 tracks will undergo some transformations the following month during mixing in the North of France. The exhausting tour unfortunately left some scars on the vocal cords!
The Master will be produced in Finland by Eagle Mastering specializing in Blue Rock, Garage and Pub Rock. A direction that the trio wanted to take.
The release will be in April 2007 on the SFAX RECORDS label (Paris).

Rock journalist PHILIPPE MANŒUVRE wrote on the back of the cover: ‘That’s ROCK’N’ROLL’, bunch of intellectuals!

In short, even if it’s not HOT’s most accomplished album, it doesn’t leave you indifferent!
