Included in the Japanese collector's edition of Grim Guardians*. No standalone release has been announced.*The title of the game was retroactively changed after its release to "Gal Guardians" ("Gal" actually being a better hint that this game is part of the GalGun universe of titles) due to a possible trademark dispute with the PC game Grimgrad, which was also released around the same time. There was never litigation over this as Inti Creates opted to proactively make the change, which briefly lead to the game being delisted on several eShops while the change was made. Unlike some false claims, the delisting was never over censorship of content in the game. This also lead to the physical release of the game in North America being delayed by about a month which have the updated title; it appears only the copies in Asian nations were released early enough to have the original title on the related, printed media.
