The Winter Ward was made over the course of four years, 2009 through 2012. We recorded drums in Studio Tanken in Sandvika, Norway and in Dugout Studios, Uppsala, Sweden. Guitars were recorded all over the place, a lot of them were recorded in Peder's cottage by the lake. Some were recorded at Dugout Studios, some at the White Room. And yeah, most guitars on "With Lowered Arms" were recorded in Konie's Studio Cobra back in early 2009. Bass was recorded at the White Room and at Dugout Studios. Analog and modular synthesizers were recorded at Upstairs at Eric's and at the White Room.
