This CD is presumably taken from a demo tape. The total length of the album is 46:41 minutes (Side 1 is 23:38, Side 2 is 23:03), opposed to the original 1971 LP, this sounds less rich and orchestrated, more acoustic, but in some places more intense, the texts of the first part are slightly different from the original version (with more space to the spoken parts) and lacks the long instrumental introduction (e.g. the instrumental overture "Largo iniziale") and has sparser arrangements, with less Mellotron and studio effects (e.g. none of the weird English rant on "Plim plim" or the whispering interlude on "Allegro per niente") even the voices are alternate differently, both in singing and storytelling. Some of the solos are different as well, as is the order in which the themes are presented, and there even seems to be a few verses and bits of music that are not present on the original version. .
