IDLES is a post-punk band formed in Bristol, England. The members are Joe Talbot (vocals), Adam Devonshire (bass), Mark Bowen (guitars), Lee Kiernan (guitars), and Jon Beavis (drums), and released their debut album "Brutalism" in 2017. The album was well received and the band also supported The Maccabees and Foo Fighters. In 2018, he released his second album "Joy As An Act Of Resistance". The album reached No. 5 on the UK charts, and most of the major media ranked the album as one of the best albums of the year. He won the best album at the Ivor Novello Awards and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. The band has also been nominated for a Brit Awards breakthrough artist.
