Discovered in the ITN archives is this work-in-progress cassette of early mixes from the Stormhorse recording session at FON Studio Sheffield, March - April 1987.

These rough mixes would have been taken away by the band following the first 6 days (28/29 March, 3/4 & 13/14 April) - to prepare for the next studio visit when tympani, orchestral drums, snare and vocals were finally added.

As such, these mixes give a fascinating insight into the gestation of the album.
