Jack Mittleman’s anticipated new album ‘English River’ is a collection of songs that span orchestral pop, guitar driven rock and sweeping widescreen ballads, emphasising the ambition of the album to take us on a musical journey. Jack has been inspired by the timeless album tradition that grew from the musical climate of the late Sixties and Seventies.

‘English River’ was recorded in Hawaii, Stockholm and London. The album was mastered by Steve Rooke at Abbey Road Studios. Along with top Swedish musical talent, the album also features contributions by renowned artists such as Nelson Bragg (Brian Wilson Band, The Beach Boys) and Eric Bazilian (The Hooters) among many others.

The album’s first single, ‘Not the One’, is written in collaboration with British songwriter Chad Neale. It’s a classic pop song with an infectiously catchy refrain. The single is already playing on select American radio stations.
