Jaime Alexander was an Ecuadorian pilot who played the flute, and recorded this album with Polibio Mayorga in 1978 as well as another album on Onix. His father, a military pilot, went missing in a flight over a mountain range in the east of Ecuador. Jaime Alexander went on an expedition to locate the remains of his father, and was tragically lost in the same way over the same mountain range as his father.
