Master Kora player Jali Fily Cissokho is one of an extended line of ancestral musicions (Griots) who come from the Casamance region of Southern Senegal.
These six tracks were recorded in England during a European tour in the autumn of 2003 where, as well as giving a number of solo concerts and recording for BBC Television, he performed with the renowned family group Jalikunda
