Orgelwerken by Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, Haite van der Schaaf

Artists

Album Info

Label: Glorieklanken

Subtitle of album on back reads: "Orgelwerken uitgevoerd door Haite van der Schaaf". Released in a 3 sided fold out cover inside a hard plastic sleeve, comparable to this John Coltrane and this Miles Davis reissue. It means that the cover, once taken out of the plastic sleeve, is basically a front and back, folded at the bottom spine like a book; the top and bottom seam are not closed or attached.

Side 1 recorded on the organ of the "Nederlandse Hervormde Kerk" in Loenen aan de Vecht, The Netherlands; side 2 recorded on the organ of the "Grote Kerk" in Alkmaar, The Netherlands.

Year of release is not available anywhere on release. Also, the matrix/runout details stamped in the deadwax are exactly the opposite of the same details as printed on the labels. It's not known if this is a pressing artefact.

Made in Holland
