Life In Tokyo, Special Remix (3.59) was mixed in 1982 and overdubbed by the group. This version also appears on the 2004/2006 remastered Assemblage CD and the Japanese The Singles 2 CD set.

The sleeve has Sylvian in silhouette in a window of a room at the Keio Plaza Hotel.

On the back sleeve is a painting of Sylvian by Mulligan from the 80s band Fashion.

This Irish release uses the same catalogue number as the UK 1982 edition, HANSA 17. The sleeve is identical to the UK 7"; however, the vinyl centre on this edition uses the Hansa Rainbow label.

Note: Some of these Irish pressings were supplied without a picture sleeve.
