Issued in a clamshell box with each disc within a standard jewel case, on a grey tray and with a 4 page booklet.

This is the first edition of the box set that includes the mispressed 13-track picture CD Oil On Canvas live album. When the box set was released in October 1990, Virgin made this error and included the wrong disc. All are as picture CDs and are the same as the 1984 release CDs in content.

Track lengths as printed in the booklets although track 3-5 (Ghosts) is only 4:16 in length on the disc.

Tray inlay designs might vary because some copies of the CDs in the box have barcodes and some do not. Some copies of Gentlemen Take Polaroids have Compact Price printed onto the front of the booklet, while others do not.
