The album was re-released on 2nd December 2016, exclusively as part of the "Oxygène Trilogy" and the "Oxygène Trilogy 40th Anniversary Edition" box sets featuring the first "Oxygène" and the new "Oxygène" sequel, numbered "3". The album is renamed to "Oxygène 2" and excerpts of the original artwork are only seen inside the product.
