2023 was year the Europe in Concert tour celebrated its 30th anniversary! Compared to the Barcelona concert (released as Jean-Michel Jarre - Europe En Concert - 25th Anniversary), some shows contained a different selection of songs; Equinoxe 4 (standard version) was played in Barcelona and Tours instead of Chronologie 1.2; Digisequencer was only in Barcelona and Sevilla played with flamenco orchestra; Equinoxe 4 (Deep Mix) was only played in Brussels and London; Chronologie 7 was only played in Mont Saint-Michel, Brussels and London; Magnetic Fields 2 was only played in Manchester, Marseille, Berlin, Montauban, Versailles, Santiago de Compostela, Seville, Barcelona and Tours instead of Chronologie 7 and Equinoxe 4 (Deep Mix); Band In The Rain was not played at Mont-Saint-Michel, Lausanne and Budapest; Magnetic Fields 2 was in some occasions played as second encore; and ofcourse in Brussels David Jarre played Happy Birthday on Patrick Rondats guitar for his fathers´ birthday!
These tracks, some of them unique, on these 2 CD´s are from 8 different cities; Mont Saint-Michel, Budapest, Brussels, London, Berlin, Versailles, Sevilla and Tours, makes this set a great 30th anniversary souvenir of Jarre´s first ever tour.
