JEFFREY KINART was not even a musician until last year, choosing to concentrate on visual arts, working on cutting edge videos with the likes of Brian Eno and Peter Gabriel. Kinart’s "Swimming in Amniotic" is a spectacular debut, mixing warm, pleasant soundscapes with groaning loops. This project was an actual experiment to see how a fetus would react to music. As it turns out, he was experimenting with his wife. Since then, he’s become a proud father, and quite a musician besides.
