Jerry McCain has been making great blues recordings longer then most of his current blues fans have been alive. Somehow, he has manages to stay fresh and creative for nearly half a century. On this, his second recording for Ichiban/Wild Dog, he sings not only about love (a constant source of blues inspiration) but also about things he sees around him in he world of the 90's. He does it all directly, honestly and he plays some fine blues harp as well. He injected feeling and humor into every song and I can only hope that you, the listener, enjoy these tunes as much as we enjoyed recording them.
