Inter Alia's initial run of 500 pieces actually has two different cover designs, due to dramatic personal events in the lives of its creators. The first 150 discs have a cover featuring photography and design by Mark Laking, as well as a typo on the back cover which misspells the title of track 4 as "The Alltogether". The cover was redesigned by Jesse Dangerously using photographs by Kelly Clark of Typical Girl Fotography after the relationship with Mr Laking was soured. An interior illustration by Lesley-Ann Steeleworthy was also replaced with a pixel rendering by Jessica Henderson. All of this happened midway through the production of that first run, but both covers have wound up in the hands of collecters.
