This version is the original private pressing from 1973 that was put out with picture sleeve by the artist, Jesse Morgan.
P.O. Box number under street address & textured trim around the label are present on Jesmor Records version and replaced with cat. number on the Tramp reproduction. Vinyl is also noticeably thinner than the 2015 Tramp reissue.
“I Gotta Get Back” is the hardest hitting funk ever to be put on wax in Hawaii. Definitely as good as or better than the better known 70’s hard funk/soul tracks.
