From the Information Cover Cue Sheet:
This edition of Up Close features a group that is truly a classic among rock bands, Jethro Tull.
Jethro Tull's latest album "Rock Island" is its twenty third. The album follows on the heels of the groups' Grammy Award winning "Crest Of A Knave" and the collection of twenty years of Jethro Tull.
In this edition of Up Close, Ian Anderson, the theatrical and often outspoken founder and leader of the group, provides insights about Jethro Tull's history and future. During this program we realize that his interests and concerns clearly go beyond the world of rock as he displays a tremendous passion about the problems of poverty and the abuse of the environment. We also hear from guitarist Martin Barre, an original member of the group, as well as current members Dave Pegg, Dcan Perry, and Martin Allcock.
The window for Jethro TuII: Up Close is 12/11-12/24.
