Matrix numbers would indicate that, originally, "Bobby Is The One" was intended as the A Side.

When "Hey Paula" was first released under the name Jill & Ray, Le Cam only pressed up a very few of the 45s and took it to radio. Something was missing, The master tape had an organ overdubbed and re-released (also by Jill & Ray as seen here). When it suddenly started picking up airplay, it was released a third time with the duo taking their name from the two characters in the hit song Paul & Paula.
