Some encounters seem inevitable. More than a simple aesthetic affinity, this recording mirrors a way of being and a particular view of the world that characterises the entities involved in this collaboration. Jim Strong is an American artist, instrument builder and one of Vox Populi's gallery programmers. In his instruments there is a point of contact with Sonoscopia's universe - the interest in randomness, the eccentricity of some sounds and the visual complementarity that frames them. These three elements end up being the main guidelines of the music that was created, in a particularly strange and beautiful context: a huge house, on the outskirts of Philadelphia, where various objects accumulate with a carefully chaotic methodology.
