Recorded in Clinton Recording Studio A in New York City, October 4th to 6th 2007. It was recorded live to 2-channel stereo and surround, but a SACD version is not (yet) available.

The front cover states that this release is dedicated to Michael Brecker, former member of the group.

Joe Lovano appears courtesy of Blue Note Records; Ravi Coltrane appears courtesy of Savoy Jazz
The woodwind instrument Lovano is playing - aulochrome - is mentioned as aulochrome, and then explained to be a "double soprano saxophone".
Jim Yates is credited as Sonoma engineer, which relates to the digital recording system (Sonoma workstation).
