2-14 to 2-16 were recorded live on 25 March 1974 in Paris
2-11 Never Say Never is listed as When It's Dark on the discs and booklet and cover. It's confusing as there is another John Martyn song by the same name on his Glorious Fool album.

Track 2-14: released as Island WIP 6116 in November 1971

Tracks 2-3, 2-9: recorded on 9th Dec 1972.
Track 2-5: recorded on 23rd July 1972.
Track 2-6: recorded on 3rd Dec 1972.
Track 2-7: recorded on 30th Sept 1971.
Track 2-8: recorded on 26th Nov 1972.
Track 2-10: recorded on 13th Sept 1972.
Track 2-11: recorded on 20th Oct 1972.
Track 2-12: recorded on 12th Feb 1972.
Tracks 2-14 to 2-16: recorded at The Olympia, Boulevard des Capucines, Paris on 25th March 1974 (during the second of two shows on that date) on the Island Mobile Unit
